Terms of Service

Effective 14 June 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Tazama.live, a pay-per-view live streaming platform operated from Uganda. By purchasing a ticket or accessing any stream on Tazama.live, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. The Service

Tazama.live provides paid access to live and recorded event streams. You pay per event; payment grants you a unique ticket code that unlocks the corresponding stream for the duration of the event or replay window specified at checkout.

2. Ticket Purchases

  • All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable except where an event is cancelled without rescheduling (see Section 6).
  • You may purchase tickets for yourself or as a gift. Each ticket code is single-use and tied to one concurrent stream session.
  • Ticket codes are delivered via WhatsApp, SMS, or email to the contact details you provide at checkout. Ensure your phone number is correct before submitting payment.
  • If you do not receive your code within 15 minutes of a confirmed payment, contact support immediately.

3. Payment

  • Payments are processed by Pesapal. By completing a transaction you also agree to Pesapal's terms of service.
  • We accept Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Airtel Money) and card payments through Pesapal. Charges appear on your statement as Pesapal or the event organiser.
  • Prices are shown in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • We are not liable for failed transactions caused by your mobile money provider, bank, or network downtime. Contact your provider first; then reach out to us if the issue persists.

4. Streaming Access

  • Each ticket code permits one active viewing session at a time. Starting a session on a second device will prompt you to take over — this ends the existing session on the other device.
  • Sessions that are idle for more than 5 minutes are automatically released, allowing you to resume on the same or a different device.
  • Streaming quality depends on your internet connection. We do not guarantee uninterrupted playback and are not liable for buffering or quality degradation caused by your network.
  • Ticket codes are personal to you. Sharing a code grants the recipient access in your place and may end your own session.

5. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Record, capture, restream, or redistribute any part of a stream.
  • Share your ticket code publicly or sell it to a third party.
  • Use automated tools to purchase tickets, bypass access controls, or scrape the platform.
  • Attempt to circumvent the single-viewer enforcement or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.

Violation of these terms will result in immediate termination of your access without refund and may be reported to relevant authorities.

6. Event Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method within 7 business days.
  • If an event is rescheduled, your ticket remains valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, contact us within 48 hours of the rescheduling announcement to request a refund.
  • We are not liable for cancellations caused by government directives, acts of God, or other circumstances beyond our or the event organiser's reasonable control.

7. Intellectual Property

All content streamed through Tazama.live — including audio, video, graphics, and event branding — belongs to the respective rights holders. Your ticket grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to view the content once. No ownership or additional rights are transferred.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ugandan law, Tazama.live and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of access due to technical failures, network outages, or event changes. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the affected ticket.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kampala, Uganda.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
